ENIGMA PARTNERS WITH HAKI TO DELIVER HIGH-PROFILE ROPEWORKS PROJECT

Leading main contractor Enigma Industrial Services Ltd has chosen HAKI Scaffolding for their modern, high-profile ‘The Ropeworks’ construction project at Salamander Place in the heart of the vibrant community of Leith, in the city of Edinburgh, Scotland.

The modern scaffolding on this first of three potential residential developments in Leith is a full encapsulation of a private development of studios, lofts, apartments and garden duplexes, compromising 82 units. It is being created for customer Hart Builders Ltd and the end client Cruden Homes (sister company of Hart Builders), forming part of the Cruden Group.

Throughout 2018, a substantial 280 tonnes of HAKI Universal Scaffolding, Stair Towers and Loading Towers – the single biggest HAKI job undertaken by Enigma Industrial Services in Edinburgh – has been erected on the site, over eight lifts. And there are plans for the designed scaffolding to remain in place for safe contractor access until the start of 2019.

Scott Hardie, Managing Director Enigma Industrial Services Ltd said:

“The Enigma team has worked closely with HAKI since 2012, the two brands have collaborated on a wide range of industrial, commercial and residential new-build and refurbishment applications – ranging from industrial maintenance for Syngenta in West Yorkshire, to the renovation of Sandhurst Military Academy in Berkshire and new-build residential construction sites for Taylor Wimpey across the North-east of England.

As we enter the next stage of our growth we look forward to further reinforcing the partnership with HAKI.”

Chris Stokes, VP Marketing and Business Development for HAKI said:

“This is a perfect example of HAKI productivity, safety and adaptability in action on a large-scale, quality, fast track housing construction project. HAKI Universal and Tower system products are absolutely ideal for such ventures – meeting working at height regulations safely and project deadlines easily.

It’s been a pleasure to work closely with Enigma Industrial Services’ management and scaffolding teams – helping to showcase the plethora of design features HAKI Universal and Stair and Loading tower systems have, to help boost productivity and speed on the exciting site, with the added benefit of improving safety too.”

Enigma Industrial Services has become one of the largest and most important users of HAKI Universal System Scaffolding in the UK – following an in-depth selection process resulting in HAKI becoming its preferred system scaffold supplier for contracts all over the country.
