Suspended Access Systems

HAKI Suspended Access Systems provide safe access in complex environments such as: jetty maintenance, furnace repair, offshore underdeck, ship building and many others.

  • Access in complex environments
  • Compatibility to all main scaffolding systems

HAKI Underdeck System (HUS)

HAKI Underdeck System (HUS) provides a safe and efficient suspended working area while significantly reducing labour costs through rapid build speed. By minimising time spent constructing access, HUS enables teams to focus on essential repairs and maintenance, helping assets return to service sooner.

Access is a major cost factor in industrial projects, so getting it right from the start is critical. HUS leads the way in suspended access innovation, delivering a faster and smarter alternative to traditional scaffolding systems.

HAKI Underdeck System (HUS)

HUS has a proven track record across sectors including offshore helidecks and underdecks, crane booms, jetties, wharves, industrial boilers, road bridges, pipe bridges and conveyor systems. It can be installed by rope access technicians or scaffolders from the leading edge and is fully compatible with HAKI’s Advanced Guard Rail (AGR) system to maximise installer safety.

Designed and installed in house by our specialist teams, every project benefits from expert planning and execution. Customer demonstrations are also available in Kinross and Coventry.

TechniSpan System

HAKI TechniSpan provides an innovative engineered access solution for the replacement of traditional under-deck and suspended scaffolds, while offering interconnection compatibility to all main scaffolding systems. The adaptable modules are designed to accommodate piers, bearings, arches, trusses, soffits, suspension cables, hangers and other challenging obstacles.

HAKI TechniSpan lends itself to complex environments by overcoming challenging difficulties in permanent structures, where conventional solutions often fall short due to limited flexibility. HAKI TechniSpan is well suited for applications such as underdeck access, bridge maintenance and jetty construction.

TechniSpan

Using the HAKI TechniSpan platforms, combined with equipment from our chosen strategic partners, we give our customers the means to carry out installation, maintenance or other remedial works.

The suspended platform system can, with great benefits, be integrated with the HAKI Universal scaffolding system to offer new solutions and methods for accessing project requirements in dynamic situations.

With fewer contact points than traditional scaffolding, the unique traversing system can be easily and quickly erected, lifted, and lowered to cover large working areas, leading to an overall reduction in project time schedule and labour costs.

Customers can expect a complete service from design to supply, including expert technical advice throughout the project. Working with our customers every step of the way we can create a unique method to work access challenges where we have a track record of bringing assets back online quicker than using conventional access methods.

Underdeck Access

Fast and efficient access in the offshore environment. HAKI TechniSpan is a purpose-built modular underdeck access platform, with over 75% fewer contact points than traditional scaffold. For our customers, we have delivered access schemes for everything from full underdeck blasting/painting schemes with the strictest of environmental constraints to more targeted schemes to provide access to more specific areas of the structure that require repair and maintenance.

Bridge Maintenance

HAKI TechniSpan is a flexible system that can be built to any shape and size, with time savings of 50% compared with conventional scaffolding. HAKI have the solutions and experience that bridge operators need to allow them to maintain their iconic structures and keep communities connected.

Jetty Construction and Repair

HAKI TechniSpan’s adaptable systems are designed to accommodate piers, bearings, arches, trusses, soffits, suspension cables, hangers and other challenging obstacles. Our systems are designed to provide the access required for construction activity maintenance and repair while minimising the impact to commercial activity and other jetty operations. Many solutions can be built offsite to minimise disruption and we can even use the tides to our advantage to relocate the access system.

Suspended Platform System

For safety and speed suspended platforms can be installed using the HAKITEC 750 beams or using HAKI Universal scaffolding and suspension devices. Our innovative scaffolding system allows scaffold to be suspended from a ‘scaffolder safe zone’, using collective measures – minimising the danger of falls in high-risk environments.

HAKI systems in galvanised steel and aluminium are far lighter than other competitor systems when it comes to suspended scaffold and the diverse range of suspension devices make it possible to suspend safely, establishing it as the safest choice for complex environments.

Suspended platforms

HAKI Universal suspended scaffolding is erected with various bay widths and normally with a bay length of 3050mm and a lift height of 2000mm.

The usual dangers and challenges associated with erecting a suspended scaffold are eliminated with HAKI Universal.

Additionally, the HAKI Advanced Guard Rail (AGR) can be combined with a double rider to provide leading-edge protection whilst bays are decked out and the second bay is lowered and hooked into place, so the risk of falls from height is minimised.

Single ledger beams (ERB) and ledger beams (LB) can be used both as ledgers and transoms.

By utilising HAKITEC 750 beams and suspension devices and steel decks, we can create large open working spaces under deck or suspended from bridges, with reduced risk of slips and trips when working.
