Midway Holding changes name to HAKI Safety
HAKI Safety AB is the new name of Midway Holding. The extraordinary general meeting decided the name change on 12 December 2023 and the new company name is now registered at the Swedish Companies Registration Office. The company's ticker (short name) on Nasdaq Stockholm is traded under the names HAKI A and HAKI B as of December 20, 2023.
Midway acquires EKRO Bausystem through HAKI
Midway Holding, through its largest subsidiary HAKI, has signed an agreement to acquire all shares in the Austrian company EKRO Bausystem GmbH, effective October 4, 2022. EKRO Bausystem complements the group's business area Safe Access Solutions in an excellent way with solutions for safe work on temporary workplaces and provides opportunities for geographical expansion towards the German-speaking part of Europe, primarily the Austrian market.
Midway acquires Novakorp through HAKI
Midway Holding, through its largest subsidiary HAKI, has signed an agreement to acquire all shares in the French company Novakorp Systems SARL, effective July 1, 2022. Novakorp Systems perfectly complements the Safe Access Solutions business area with solutions for safe work at high height. In addition to geographic expansion, the acquisition also provides opportunities for synergies with Safe Access Solutions' supply chain.
HAKI acquires british Vertemax
HAKI, a company in the listed Malmö group Midway Holding, has acquired all the shares in the British company Vertemax, which complements HAKI in an excellent way, mainly around solutions for safe work at height. Vertemax's turnover has increased strongly in recent years and amounted to approximately SEK 180 million in 2020.
