Access Cradles & Lifelines
Suspended Access Cradles offer a flexible, stable working environment at height for a wide range of tasks. HAKI Access has extensive experience installing these systems safely and provides a cost-effective hire alternative to traditional access methods like scaffolding or MEWPs.
Fall protection lifeline systems reduce the risk of falls while allowing workers the freedom to carry out maintenance, repairs, or inspections.
Suspended Access Cradles
Suspended Access Cradles (sometimes called window cleaning cradles) are a form of temporary suspended access that allow workers to gain access to external and internal elevations of a structure to carry out a variety of trade and maintenance tasks – not just window cleaning!
Cradles are an adaptable, safe and cost-effective method of access when you need to get workers at height quickly and they are commonly used on a variety of structure such as oil rigs, bulk tanks, offices, warehouses, bridges, power stations, residential buildings, heritage sites, stadiums and viaducts.
Once installed a variety of trade tasks can be carried out such as cladding, glazing, general maintenance, painting, blasting, welding and masonry repairs.
All work is carried out from a safe, handrailed platform which is then raised to the work site using powered winches with fully redundant back-up safety systems in place. Self-rescue in the event of power loss is simple and covered in the handover training.
Suspended access cradles can provide a quicker and more cost-effective alternative to traditional access methods such as scaffolding, MEWPS and mast-climbers given the right application.
Fall Arrest Lifelines
The choice of lifeline safety equipment depends on the application and working environment - our experienced installers will carry out a site survey to determine the best set up for your requirements and then take care of the installation and handover from start to finish leaving you with safe and fit for purpose access ensuring you are compliant with the Work at Height Regulations. We can also handle on-going periodic inspections and maintenance for you.
HAKI Access Solutions are approved installers for the Tractel range of permanent and temporary lifelines - an innovative range of products that allow safe access while working on roofs, ladders, and in other high places.
All customers will be given familiarisation session prior to handover and all systems provide access with simple devices that once attached to the system are hands-free allowing freedom of movement and the ability to get on with the job.
