HAKI Expertise in Safe, Efficient, and Disruption-Free Construction

HAKI demonstrates its technical expertise, training initiatives, and innovative solutions that minimise disruptions across diverse projects.

Technical Expertise

At the Prašná Brána (Powder Gate) project in Prague 3D scaffold design was used to accommodate the tower’s intricate façade while adapting to local weather and regulations. Bridging beams (6–12m) were used to avoid damaging ornaments and ensure continuous traffic flow as the restoration works were conducted.

Tasked with providing safe access for Transport Scotland at the Forth Road Bridge in Scotland, HAKI developed a bespoke solution featuring a TechniSpan suspended platform spanning 10m while supporting a five-lift scaffold. Integrated with a HAKI Stair Tower, this system allowed full access for maintenance work. The in-house design team conducted extensive scenario modelling to ensure adaptability, enabling steelwork to be lifted efficiently from river level. The innovative hybrid system reduced installation time by 80%, restoring bridge operations ahead of schedule.

DEEP Campus, Chepstow: HAKI engineered a hybrid system combining Public Access Stairs (PAS), 450/750 Beams and Universal components. A 23.5m suspended Stair Tower was secured to the rock face with two expertly installed underwater lifts demonstrating HAKI’s advanced engineering and problem-solving capabilities.

Training

Compression Post safety training ensured proper equipment use and best practices for all site operatives in Canary Wharf, London. The sessions covered product understanding, technical specifications, and weekly safety checks.

To support the upgrade of Waterloo Station in London HAKI trained CCS Scaffolding supervisors on the Universal system, enabling safe and precise scaffold erection. The result was a significant reduction in the installation timeline from 16 weeks to just 3 weeks, demonstrating the impact of expert training.

Minimise Disruptions with Quick Installation

Eurovea Tower, Slovakia: HAKI’s easy-to-install barrier systems ensured seamless construction progress, allowing a new floor to be added every 11 days without delays. The rapid installation process kept the project on schedule while maintaining the highest safety standards.

To minimise disruption at Gypsy Lane, Swindon, HAKI rapidly installed a temporary bridge over the busy railway line. The final bridge installation was completed in just 15 minutes overnight, significantly reducing downtime. HAKI’s intuitive systems, combined with expert technician support, provided a safe, weather-protected walkway while maintaining operational efficiency.
