In Partnership with

Building trust through the highest safety standards

As part of our HAKI culture, we view partnerships as a backbone to our operations, and an integral part of our future success. Afterall, it’s how minds combine to solve challenges, and how expertise join together to deliver better outcomes.

For over 25 years, Abscaff Ltd have grown to become a trusted specialist access provider for a variety of complex structures. Providing scaffolding to the private sector, marine and construction industries across Scotland and beyond, they have experience working across heritage and iconic buildings.

To sustain their growth, Asscaff have built a reliable and well-trained team infrastructure. Alongside this, they have invested heavily in the HAKI’s Universal scaffolding system and temporary roofing.

From small towers and extensions to major site works and bridge underdecks, the consistent, competitive, expert advice and reliable approach to safety & compliance, particularly on demanding projects, has enabled Abscaff to build an impressive reputation.

Indeed, as the first scaffolding suppliers in Aberdeenshire to offer the HAKI systems, Abscaff were awarded high-profile work such as the Forth Road Bridge and Provost Skene House in Aberdeen.

The latter project saw scaffolding surrounding Aberdeen’s oldest surviving house as part of its £3.8 million restoration. Having fallen into disrepair, it was saved by the Queen Mother, then the Queen, while the slums around it were demolished in the late 1930s. She cut the ribbon as it reopened as a museum in 1953.

The 16th century home in Guestrow will soon become home to a Hall Of Heroes celebrating the achievements of people from the city and the wider North-East, including the likes of musician Annie Lennox and Europe-conquering former Aberdeen FC manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

The strong partnership with HAKI, coupled with Abscaff’s commitment to training and support meant that this significant landmark project was approached collaboratively with the requisite specialist skills in place.

It’s this combined approach of HAKI’S specialist systems and Abscaff’s proactive, expert service, that has ensured this long-established company still stands proud in the industry.
