As construction adapts and cross laminated timber (CLT) grows in popularity it's important that the HAKI also caters seamlessly for this material. By utilising the two new products launched across our Edge Protection range customers can quickly create a safe solutions for either systemised Barrier System or Catchfan. 

VC Foot Timber Plate

Designed for use in cross laminated timber (CLT) construction the VC Foot Timber Plate ensures that Systemised Barrier System can be installed securely and safely. Fit the plate using Schmid StarDrive GPR screws before securing the VC Foot with an M16 Bolt.

CLT Catchfan Slab Attachment Mount

This product enables sites to use the Catchfan on cross laminated timber (CLT) constructions with the Catchfan Slab Wall Fix. An excellent containment solution designed to absorb the energy of falling objects, mitigating against objects causing danger to the public or damage to property. The mount plate is secured using 5 x Schmid StarDrive GPR 6mm x 100mm and 1 x M12 x 50mm Bolt.
